Eternal Darkness Etched 1.5L 2017 Syrah
2017 Eternal Darkness Syrah
Cockburn Ranch Vineyard
100% Syrah
Eternal Wines
Etched & Signed Magnum 1.5L
Tasting notes
Hello darkness my old friend! This wine is defiantly more masculine on the nose we see dark chocolate, roasted coffee grinds, and vanilla. The palate hits you with ripe dark fruit, blackberry, and elderberry. Eternal Darkness ends with a lush mouth drooling tannin finish. Lay this bad boy down for at least 3 years although 7-10 years is what I’m thinking as peak drinking window. 2 barrels produced.

Cockburn Ranch in Milton Freewater, OR.
Walla Walla Valley AVA
Established in 2014 by owner and winemaker Brad Binko. Brad grew up in Buffalo, NY and spent time at Northeastern University, University at Buffalo, and the WWCC Enology and Viticulture program which he is a graduate of. He is a certified sommelier and ran fine dining wine programs in Charleston, SC before moving to Walla Walla to follow his dreams of making wine. As a Sommelier Brad loves wine that show a true sense of where that wine came from. Its enjoyable to be able to taste 2 different wines made from vineyard directly next to each other. You can harvest the same day and even do the same additions but the final product will be dramatically different due to the native yeast in the vineyard and the micro terrior of each vineyard. Eternal wines focuses on native yeast, small lot productions with an emphasis on Rhone varietals and age worthy wines.
