2018 Eternal Foundation Syrah
Winesap Vineyard
Harvested: 9-30-16
Alc %15
Walla Walla Valley AVA
95% Syrah 5% Roussanne Co-Fermeneted
Tasting notes
(AKA 5 filter death punch. This wine was never racked and defiantly clogged up some filters on the way to the bottle.) 1st release. This is a typical Walla Walla Syrah with hints of figs, earthy underbrush, leather, violets and fresh fruit with a slight ‘funk’ on the nose. In the glass this inky wine has notes of plums, strawberry cheesecake, leather, dried cranberries with a smooth low acid mineral driven finish.
Production notes

Winesap Vineyard
Winesape vineyard is in the rocks district of Milton-Freewater in Oregon.
Walla Walla Valley AVA
Established in 2014 by owner and winemaker Brad Binko. Brad grew up in Buffalo, NY and spent time at Northeastern University, University at Buffalo, and the WWCC Enology and Viticulture program which he is a graduate of. He is a certified sommelier and ran fine dining wine programs in Charleston, SC before moving to Walla Walla to follow his dreams of making wine. As a Sommelier Brad loves wine that show a true sense of where that wine came from. “Its enjoyable to be able to taste 2 different wines made from vineyard directly next to each other. You can harvest the same day and even do the same additions but the final product will be dramatically different due to the native yeast in the vineyard and the micro terrior of each vineyard.” Eternal wines focuses on native yeast, small lot productions with an emphasis on Rhone varietals and age worthy wines.
