Tasting notes

·      The smell of this wine transports you to a personal library with many leather-bound books. A very rich and noble nose of butterscotch, plush blackberry and plum with hints of leather. The palate is bold and full bodied. Dusty tannins coat your tastebuds before giving way to a Mad Max like army bringing mouthwatering acidity. Oh, Rocket Man how I love you. 

Production notes

You remember certain things at harvest and 5 years later I still remember all components that went into the wine. Especially the Malbec, I had picked these grapes myself in 90-degree weather at Spofford Station vineyard in Walla Walla. It was a Sunday, and I was blasting the Bills game on the radio in my truck. This is the first year we ever added Malbec to the RMR and I couldn’t be happier.

Established in 2014 by owner and winemaker Brad Binko. Brad grew up in Buffalo, NY and spent time at Northeastern University, University at Buffalo, and the WWCC Enology and Viticulture program which he is a graduate of.  He is a certified sommelier and ran fine dining wine programs in Charleston, SC before moving to Walla Walla to follow his dreams of making wine. As a Sommelier Brad loves wine that show a true sense of where that wine came from. “Its enjoyable to be able to taste 2 different wines made from vineyard directly next to each other. You can harvest the same day and even do the same additions but the final product will be dramatically different due to the native yeast in the vineyard and the micro terrior of each vineyard.” Eternal wines focuses on native yeast, small lot productions with an emphasis on Rhone varietals and age worthy wines.
