Tasting notes
· Remember the cartoons when characters eyes would shoot out of their head? That happens when you sip this wine. The nose takes me to winter. It’s cold out but my nose is warm. Scents of brandy, maple, butterscotch, and boysenberry give way to first sip from the gods. This wine takes me back to Sunday mornings when we would eat chocolate chip pancakes with strawberry syrup AND real maple syrup together. This magical wine is the perfect ending to any great meal or celebration. The best part is you can enjoy it over the next 50 years!
Production notes
This is one of my all time favorite wines to make and enjoy. Each year is a little different which makes it unique. We treat this wine like a vintage port so 1 year in oak and then bottled. The goal is to find the right balance of sweetness and alcohol. I want the first thing you say after a sip to be ‘Wow, that’s awesome’ not Wow, very sweet or Wow, super alcohol. Balance is the key.

Established in 2014 by owner and winemaker Brad Binko. Brad grew up in Buffalo, NY and spent time at Northeastern University, University at Buffalo, and the WWCC Enology and Viticulture program which he is a graduate of. He is a certified sommelier and ran fine dining wine programs in Charleston, SC before moving to Walla Walla to follow his dreams of making wine. As a Sommelier Brad loves wine that show a true sense of where that wine came from. Its enjoyable to be able to taste 2 different wines made from vineyard directly next to each other. You can harvest the same day and even do the same additions but the final product will be dramatically different due to the native yeast in the vineyard and the micro terrior of each vineyard. Eternal wines focuses on native yeast, small lot productions with an emphasis on Rhone varietals and age worthy wines.
